I love the sauna so far, it is just perfect for the space I have and my wife and I use about 3x per week.
I got this sauna and built it myself over 2.5 days. It was a lot of work but not difficult at all. It has a Huum 4.5 W drop heater. I switched the side of the heater and the footrest to accommodate the change.
Krizza is awesome. Very kind and extremely helpful. She turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. Promote immediately.
I ordered the SaunaLife CL5G 4 person cube sauna through SaunaKits.com and have a great experience overall. The quality of the product is as expected and after a month of use I have thoroughly enjoyed the new addition to my backyard. While I did have some problems with the instructions as is a common theme you see online the SaunaKits Customer service helped me through any of the issues that I had.
While I give SainaKits 5 stars overall here are the areas the whole process could be improved.
1. Shipping, they say it’s should come within a specific date range when you order it. That was not the case as mine arrived about 10 days later. The shipping company was supposed to call and set up a day and time. They never did, but showed up unexpectedly at 8:00 one day. I was fortunate that I was home to direct them where to put the kit.
2. The instructions are awful and the only online videos contradict one another when you get to the confusing parts so it’s anyone’s guess which way is correct.
To summarize my experience saineKits.com has done an amazing job and the Sauna life CL 5G four person sauna cube series is a great product once you get it all together. I would recommend this product.
Everything went as smooth as you would expect from a great company, from ordering to assembly. Anytime I had questions, they were there to answer. The cube series complements our mid century designed home perfectly. Now we are enjoying sunrises over Lake Huron with a new appreciation for mother nature.... all while improving our health. Highly recommend.!
Bought the CL7G kit and absolutely love it. It was a lot of work to put together and the instructions weren’t ideal, but I’m not the most handy person and I managed.
The sauna is amazing. It fits 6 people comfortably on the benches, but we’ve seen 10 high schoolers using it. When there are only 2 of us, we can both lie down on a bench. The benches could stand to be a tad wider when lying down. We got the 9 kW Huum heater and it heats our sauna from 60 to 160 F in an hour. The wood smells incredible. There was an issue with the control system that I had to call support to resolve, but overall I give it an A+. I’ve gotten a bit addicted to it now.
Fantastic customer service and the product is as good as advertised. I love my sauna, and I use it four times a week, and the heater is incredible. the functionality, and the interplay with my cell phone is terrific, and it heats up quickly and overall it give the product an A plus. Krizza was amazing and answered all my questions and was really fantastic help, and advice for all these products
I have not put in use yet hope it to getting it up and running in a week or two
Did not put it together yet this weekend coming up I will and will let you know
I spent a considerable amount of time researching many different sauna brands and models before ultimately deciding on SaunaLife. Throughout my research, SaunaLife consistently stood out as an excellent combination of quality and value. Of course, you can spend significantly more on premium brands, but I wasn’t interested in spending $40,000 on a sauna. For the price, I think the value SaunaLife offers is exceptional.
The customer service has also been outstanding. They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and willing to answer the many questions I had throughout the process.
One recommendation I would make is to strongly consider the three-person cube over the two-person model if you have the space. The three-person sauna comfortably fits two adults, with enough room for my wife and me to relax and even lie down. You could fit three people, but it would definitely be a tighter squeeze. Similarly, if you’re debating between the three- and four-person models and realistically expect to use it with four people, I would recommend going with the larger option if space allows.
For what my wife and I were looking for, the three-person cube has been absolutely perfect. It’s comfortable, well-designed, and delivers exactly what we wanted without spending a fortune. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and would highly recommend SaunaLife to anyone considering a sauna!
Great sauna. Great service from the folks at saunakits.com. Bravo!
Easy to assemble and the wood burning stove is a great option for cranking heat
Great sauna. It came quickly with everything as expected!
Easy enough to assemble. Very spacious.
Good craftsmanship. Aspen wood exterior is nice looking.
The sauna is great, but the purchase and delivery process was a mess. The unit was back logged 6 months and the shipping company failed initial delivery and showed up a week later
Happy about the whole experience. Product, service and cost was great. Highly recommend.
I'm so happy with the whole experience. Great product and customer service. I highly recoomend this.
We just got our sauna assembled and love it!
We received our Finnmark FD-1 sauna and we struggled to get the heaters to work. (The Finnmark manual has not been updated to reflect changes to their saunas and a few important items are not outlined - such as when connecting the heater connections there is a certain way to attach them). However, the Sauna Kits team was fantastic to work with - always responding quickly to our questions, offering tons of support, even direct calls to walk through the set up. After a bit of coaching, we have the sauna working and we are happy with the unit. However, we are happier to have purchased the unit from such a great company that tolerated our inexperience in putting the sauna together so very patiently and professionally. We are fortunate and very thankful for all their hard work and focus on the customer. Something you defiantly do not see every day. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM
I love my sauna! I strongly recommend it!
The Finnmark FD-3 is a great sauna. It quickly heats up and stays at the desired temperature. The control panel is easy to use. The integrated bluetooth and speakers gives you an added experience. Overall the only regret is not having a space big enough to get a bigger Finnmark Sauna.
We just got our sauna delivered last Monday. It was easy to work with the shipping company to get a specific date and they accommodated our request for an in-the-garage drop (we’re in friendly Vermont).
I arranged for a skilled friend to come Wednesday and together we dissembled the packaging and assembled the sauna in less than 3 hours.
The packaging is almost all recyclable and the sauna panels were well protected. Some panels were HEAVY (glass fronted door/window side - phew!) but it went together like a dream.
Two feedback notes on assembly:
We would’ve liked the right Allan wrench included. I've gotten so I don’t keep a full set because everything that requires them for assembly comes with the proper tool included. Would love to see Sauna Kits do that going forward…. But our bike tool had the right Allen wrench so all good.
The other thing was the bench seat (top) was a tricky fit. It is literally the last thing that gets done and it took some maneuvering to get in in without scraping the sides etc. This is a 4 person sauna, so we were thinking it might be good to make the bench in two halves for this model. But we got it in after some work.
The same friend happens to do wiring so he had already come and readied an electrical outlet. Highly recommend figuring that out and getting it down in advance of ordering, or at the time of placing the order.
Last note on assembly: there IS a pretty green and white box with the limited hardware (all but the Allen wrench :) and a print copy of the user’s manual with all the specs and directions! We’d been on the verge of printing out the web version when we discovered the green box!
Everything works perfectly, and now he wants one for him and his wife too!
(We haven’t used it yet, so this is all about the assembly.)
We anticipate many happy sauna sessions going forward.
Postscript: my husband had an appointment today with the sports medicine doctor who’d recommended we get an infrared sauna. He showed the doc a picture and now that doctor wants to upgrade to a Sauna Kit infrared unit!
This sauna works great. I have been using it for several months now and love it. The sauna gets up to temp (145) within 30 minutes. Holds temp well and haven’t had any issues. I tried to put it together myself but definitely easier if you have an extra set of hands, took about 2 hours. Well worth the money for a first sauna.
From the moment, my order was accepted, I was treated like the most important customer they’ve ever had. Communication was superb, shipping and unloading was painless. When I uncrated my new sauna, I was overcome with satisfaction because this is a really well built and well designed product.
I’m pleased to say that eight months later, I have no regrets and would recommend this company and the product line they offer to anyone and everyone.
Don’t think twice, like this short!
