Not always. You DO need a level foundation to install the sauna on, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be concrete. A lot of our customers end up installing their sauna on pavers or compacted gravel. We’ve also had lots of customers install a sauna on a reinforced deck. Barrel saunas in particular tend to be lighter and more accommodating of different installation surfaces.
